Travel tips for Nor-Shipping: Street art #Oslo

As 30-35.000 shipping people travel in to Oslo and Nor-Shipping the first week of June, I thought I’d share some local favourites with those planning their trip. Oslo has really triggered the international travel reporters’ interest lately, and here is a sneak-peak of a hidden gem you should make sure to visit if you have a couple of hours free. 

These pieces are located by Akerselva, near the hipster area of Vulkan and Mathallen (The Food Market, comparable to Chelsea Food Market in N.Y. and similar markets in Barcelona etc). The streets captured are Brenneriveien and Ingens gate (nobody’s street). 

 New York Times recently placed this area on their list of 10 favourite European streets to walk, and as I guess I’m not the only one spending time enjoying street art when travelling the world, here are some glimpts;
